The Sales Notification Email Address is where you would like to receive the emails. You can set multiple emails here.

The Email Address setting is the address that the notification email will come from. So maybe you want this email to come from your sales department, you can set that here.

The Email Name setting the name that the email will appear to come from, so you can set it to come from Sales @ Business Name or whatever you’d like.

You’ll then setup the email itself. First you’ll give your email a subject. Beneath the email content area, you’ll see a list of shortcode functions. These can be used in the email itself and in the subject line. So, if you’d like to see the total purchase amount in the email’s subject, you’d add [it_exchange_email show=total] to your subject line.

Next you’ll configure the actual email. You can use the shortcode functions to add any of the information you’d like to see in your email, adding as many as you’d like. You can also add media and create it using html, just like you would any post on your site.

The shortcode options you can include are the following:

  • {{download_list}} – A list of download links for each download purchased.
  • {{order_table}} – A table of the order details. Accept "purchase_message" option.
  • {{purchase_date}} – The date of the purchase.
  • {{total}} – The total price of the purchase.
  • {{payment_id}} – The payment method ID for this purchase.
  • {{receipt_id}} – The unique ID number for this purchase.
  • {{payment_method}} – The method of payment used for this purchase.
  • {{shipping_address}} – The shipping address for this purchase. Blank if shipping is not required.
  • {{billing_address}} – The billing address for this purchase. Blank if billing is not required.
  • {{receipt_link}} – Adds a link so users can view their receipt directly on your website.
  • {{first_name}} – The recipient's first name, or display name if none given.
  • {{last_name}} – The recipient's last name, or display name if none given.
  • {{fullname}} – The recipient's full name.
  • {{username}} – The recipient's username on the site, if any.
  • {{email}} – The recipient's email address.
  • {{customer_first_name}} – The customer's first name, or display name if empty.
  • {{customer_last_name}} – The customer's last name, or display name if empty.
  • {{customer_fullname}} – The customer's full name.
  • {{customer_username}} – The customer's username on the site, if they registered an account.
  • {{customer_email}} – The customer's email address.
  • {{login_link}} – Adds a link to the login page on your website.
  • {{account_link}} – Adds a link to the customer's account page on your website.
  • {{profile_link}} – Adds a link to the customer's profile page on your website.
  • {{company_name}} – The name of your company specified in the general settings.
  • {{order_notes}} – The customer's order notes, if any.
