Multiple Warehouses

With Warehouses in iThemes Sales Accelerator, you can create multiple warehouses for your inventory.


To start creating warehouses, go to iThemes Sales Accelerator > Warehouses > List Warehouses in your site's dashboard and click the Add New Warehouse button.  


When creating your first warehouse, you'll see the following note at the top of the creation page:

Since this is your first warehouse, all product stock will be allocated to it.  If you need to change it after creating all your warehouses, please use the Stock Transfer or the Stock Import feature move your inventory to the appropriate location.

As it says, once you've created your first warehouse, all of your inventory will be added to that warehouse.  You can use the Stock Transfer or the Stock Import features to adjust your inventory once you've created all of your warehouses.


The first step to creating your warehouse will be to give it a name.  This can be anything you want it to be, such as the location of the warehouse.



You'll then create a Slug for this warehouse.  Again, this can be anything you want it to be, including the warehouse name.  This is used for the Stock Import feature.



Next, you can add the address information for the warehouse.



You'll then enter the email address of the contact you want to be notified of orders to be filled for an order from that warehouse.  You can include multiple email addresses here, just separate them using a comma.


Global Stock Priority

Lastly, you'll set the priority for the warehouse.  Based on your settings, this will determine which warehouse inventory is pulled from when an order is placed.  The lower the priority number, the higher priority.  For example, a priority of 1 is higher than 2 and the inventory will be pulled from the warehouse with a priority of 1 if the stock is available.  


Once you have entered all the information, click the Save Warehouse button.  When you have completed creating all of your warehouses, they will all show under List Warehouses.
